As the UK braces for it's second lockdown due to Covid-19, with many of you being indoors I thought I'd share the complete works of Poems From a Runaway once more to the world for free.
I know that those of you working with young people will enjoy this particularly, as well as hopefully a few more of you.
A big thanks to everyone that I've met so far on my journey with this book!
For those of you that don't already know, Poems From a Runaway is my story (in a large collection of poems and stories) about being a runaway child from ten years old, going through the care system and living rough on the streets of London from the age of twelve.
Here you will find my stories and memoirs from the perspective of the-then young me going through difficulties at home, running away, living in foster care and children's homes and experiencing what it's like to live on the streets of London.
Some moments funny, some of the sad. Some of them shocking, and other times beautiful. This is indeed a different perspective of childhood showing both the tragedies and great spirit of life.
If you find it easier to read as an actual book, you can buy the ebook or 350 page paperback from amazon or I even sell signed copies from my website at https://www.benwestwooduk.com
I'll try to upload as much as I can, as fast as I can. Unfortunately however all this page creating and linking takes time, so please be patient and I'll try to upload all 60 chapters as soon as possible.
Big Love , from Ben
